TEMPORARILY CLOSED - The Art Gallery of Alberta (AGA) is the oldest cultural institution in Alberta and the only museum in the province strictly devoted to the exhibition and preservation of art and visual culture. The gallery maintains a collection of over 6,000 objects and presents an ongoing series of 5-7 different exhibitions at any one time. It's worth while visiting the AGA just to see this world-class 85,000 sq ft masterpiece of a building.
