Blitz Conditioning is a locally owned fitness company in downtown Edmonton that offers Personal Training and HIIT & Spin Classes. The 10 Class Punch Pass gives you access to all of their classes without the commitment of a monthly fee. It doesn't expire so you can use it whenever it suits you.
HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training is a combination of cardiovascular exercise and functional fitness done in both indoor and outdoor settings. Nothing beats working out with friends. The HIIT classes are a great 55 minute workout that will have all parts of your body working. You select a weight that works for you and the instructors can modify any exercise to your needs – you just need to ask.
SPIN: A beat dropping sweat session that takes indoor cycling to a whole new level. Spend 55 minutes spinning to your favourite tunes while getting a full body workout (push-ups on the bike included).
SPIIT - Tuesday @ 6PM: Incorporating Spin (indoor cycling) and HIIT. This class will take it to the next level. It's both cardio and strength - the most efficient workout you could ask for.
Prenatal Class – Saturday @ 10AM: Experience the many benefits of exercising whilst pregnant. All exercises are designed and modified specifically for pregnant women, as your belly grows you can feel comfortable and safe while breaking a sweat. Each week will include pelvic floor strengthening exercises and a post workout stretch.
BlitzFit Momma – Thursday @ 11AM: Blitzfit Momma’s workout will get you back to feeling your best – strong and energized. All exercises include optional modifications, so no matter how far along you are postpartum you can count on Blitz to give you a great workout. Mom’s may wear their baby in a carrier, or place them in their car-seat or on the mat beside her.
Outdoor Strollercize - Tuesday @ 11AM: Enjoy your workout while your baby rides in the stroller. Join the 'Fit Mommas Edmonton' Facebook group. Location: William Hawrelak Park. Some classes may be indoors, depending on the weather.
