Make Your Own Bouquet with Fresh Cut Flowers by the Rural Botanist
This class will give you hands-on experience creating your own garden bouquet of locally grown, fresh cut blooms from the Rural Botanist. Learn about her flower farm and how she grows seasonal blooms on a small scale and receive tips on how to harvest and care for your fresh cut flowers. You will learn some new arrangement skills and then take home a beautiful, fresh, locally grown flower bouquet made by yourself.
This season the Rural Botanist will be growing: sunflowers, lilies, zinnias, snapdragons, celosia, salvia, bergamot, lupins, delphiniums, lavender, bellflower, foxglove, hollyhock, liatris, cosmos, marigolds, yarrow, coneflower, phlox, ornamental grasses, rudbeckia, baby's breath, foliage, however, there is NO guarantee on the flowers that will be available for the class.
Note: Bouquets will be wrapped in kraft paper. In the event you will be working the rest of the day at the office, please ensure that you have a vase filled with water to keep the bouquet hydrated.
