Welcome to the first Mayfield Dinner Theatre show in the 2022/2023 season - it is set to be a great one!

Piano wizardry and laugh-out-loud comedy come together in the story of two men and their life-long pursuit of becoming concert pianist superstars. Two actors, two pianos and many, many characters grace the stage as we follow Richard and Ted’s fifteen year journey and humbling quest for musical greatness. Laughter and music abound in this riotous show as the two performers tickle the ivories – and your funny bone – while portraying dozens of characters like their naïve childhood selves, the eccentric piano teachers who guide them and the demanding parents who push them. They work tirelessly to master legendary music from Beethoven and Bach to Billy Joel, enduring endless practice, stage fright and agonizing competition along the way. 2 Pianos 4 Hands captures the humour that comes with learning to play the piano, and the sense of loss of eventually legh-out-loud romantic comedy that is guaranteed to strike a chord!
